Recently, the expansive Las Vegas mansion of the late, great pop superstar Michael Jackson was put back on the market. The price of the property has been reduced from $9.5 million to just under $9 million.
The mansion is as unusual as its illustrious previous owner. The interior living spaces are over 17,000 square feet, making the size of some rooms truly impressive. The great room is the showpiece, with a fountain as its focal point, a vaulted ceiling, a wet bar, and access to the guest rooms on the upper balcony.
The master bedroom is a visual and spatial delight. The total square footage of the connected rooms is 2,505 square feet. It has a closet and dressing area reminiscent of a high-end boutique and a bedroom with arcade hallways for a touch of classical opulence.
The room also features a fireplace and a dramatic backlit tray ceiling. There are at least eight bathrooms and no less than eight bedrooms.
There is also a sauna, theater room, office that doubles as a library with built-in shelving that can be accessed via a rail ladder, and a separate guest apartment. There is a tennis court, a summer kitchen, a wet bar, and a large swimming pool outside.
