We all love a usual old design pedal boat as much as the next guy, but this super expensive, luxurious version by Beau Lake has got us thinking it is about time to take out a loan so we can strike the local Lake this bad guy.
But the question is why would we need a loan? Are not all pedal boat pretty less expensive you might ask? Most run around $400 to $600 USD these days, but unluckily you will have to have sold out a bit more dough than that if you are looking to putter across your local lake applying just your legs since the small dinghy retails for, brace yourself USD $20,000. Which we will admit is pretty insane, but damn no words, look at this beauty.
The Beau Lake Runabout joins the unique classic style and designing of conventional wooden yachts and boats with environment-friendly (and old school) pedal backed propulsion. Composed of 3 key parts, the molded fiberglass hull, inlaid and cockpit liner, mahogany coating deck the Runabout as well features an ergonomically themed tiller (handcrafted, of course) with a joystick steering part to create holding course as simple as a finger waggle.
Intended for a bit slow cruise at sunrise and sunset and typically low key lake and slow tuning creek/rivers exploration, the Beau Lake Runabout features very comfortable seating within inch wide leather covers that can be snapped off for effortless storage, alongside with a compartmentalized cooler that is been developed to fit within the smooth contour of the pedal boat.
Enormous for short fishing tours with teenagers, children or grandparents or just “messing about,” the Runabout is the ideal addition to a pedal boathouse that already features a complete sized vessel. And now that you have got the pedal boat, it is time to figure out what to put on when you are sailing, or in this manner, pedaling it.
