The Swiss Haute Horlogerie producer Audemars Piguet expands the Royal Oak offshore Self-winding Chronograph set with 3 new models. Each classic sports watch got a ceramic update and specs a new dial design, textured rubber strap, and black ceramic case.
Audemars Piguet now provides its royal oak offshore self-winding Chorongraph set with a choice of smoked green, blue, or grey dials, each featuring the producers Mega Tapisserie pattern and new Arabic numerals which supplant the customary applied hour-markers. The green and blue dial choices come with a forty-four mm ceramic case with matching ceramic bezel, screw-locked crown and push pieces.
The push pieces guards are executed in titanium. The 3rd edition contains a smoked grey dial, an eighteen pink gold bezel, and push piece guards.
Housed with each model contemporary case is the producer Calibre 3126/3840. This self winding action is contain of 365 parts and will run separately for at least 50 hours. The mechanical chronograph caliber runs at AP standard rate of 21,600 vph, or three Hz. It is an AP in-house mechanical movement fitted with a chronograph module by Dubois Depraz.
The fresh Royal Oak offshore self winding chronograph is presented on a color coordinated texture strap rubber. The patterned texture continues on the strap side.
These new models will be sold exclusively in Audemars Piguet boutiques all through the globe. The green and blue watches will be priced at $34,900 and the black ceramic and pink gold models costs
$43,000.
Each model is differentiated by its special accents. Two of the models trust on coloured ceramic for the bezel, the pushers and the crown, accessible either in green or blue. Here the lateral push piece guards are titanium. The 3rd model applies 18k pink gold on the bezel and the push piece protectors, while the crown and the hawker are completed in black ceramic.
