Tatoosh, the elegant 303-foot yacht of late Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, has surfaced on the upper-tier owned watercraft market.
Tatoosh was constructed in 2000 by the renowned German yard Nobiskrug. Tatoosh is a yacht for the discerning, with startlingly gorgeous outward lines and an interior that is as luxuriously elegant as it is literary.
Tatoosh’s residential quarters are spread across five decks. The interior rooms include a main saloon and formal dining room that are linked, the former with a limestone fireplace and the latter with pocketing doors for privacy; both have macro-parquet hardwood flooring and LED-bordered tray ceilings. This boat sleeps 19 people in 11 staterooms, including the owners’ private suite.
Tatoosh’s facilities are occasionally spectacular. The design of the contra-flow swimming pool is extremely impressive; the bottom of the pool may be raised flush with the deck to create a dance floor. This boat also has a gym, a massage room, a beach club with a sea patio and a diving lobby, a spa and sauna, and a theater.
This craft’s most practical features include a pair of helipads, stabilizers, and an elevator. She also has bulletproof glass windows. She cruises at 12.5 knots and has a peak speed of 16 knots.
Tatoosh’s service history contains a 20-year service performed in 2021. She has an asking price of €90 million and is for sale through Burgess and Fraser.
Allen died in the year 2018. His net worth was estimated to be about $20 billion.
